These three photographs were selected among the final 200 images for the “My Missouri 2021” photograph project and 2020/2021 exhibition. The goal of this project was to illustrate Missouri’s geographic and cultural diversity during the state’s Bicentennial.
Judging committee members – composed of State Historical Society of Missouri staffers and guest curators – poured over nearly 1,000 photographs received during the submission period.
My photographs will be included in the My Missouri 2021 exhibition, which will be hosted at 20 sites across the state. The organizers also will post the images on the Missouri 2021 website through the end of 2021. The photo gallery also becomes a permanent Missouri Bicentennial collection at the State Historical Society of Missouri in Columbia.
